Note: Schmincke Akademie watercolours are the fairly priced version by the company that produces Schmincke Horadam. The Akademie series are intended for beginners and hobbyists, but there is hardly any difference to the Horadam range. The colours are as vibrant and strong as the more expensive ones. If you're looking for a less pricey alternative, but still want excellent watercolours you should consider these.
