Deviation Actions
- How long have you been on DeviantArt?
About 7-8 years, although it took me almost 2 years to figure out how to post, fave etc. I used to be on Livejournal, but when the HP community began to fade away I started to post more on DA and less on LJ. - What does your username mean?
One of my cats is called Leo. ^-^ - Describe yourself in three words.
Creative, meticulous and yet messy. - Are you left or right handed?
I write and draw with my right hand, but as I've cut my right thumb on my 10th Bday I cannot bend it, so I have to do things that need a better hold (e.g. handling keys, opening bottles, using the cell phone etc.) with my left. - What was your first deviation?
A (bad) digital portrait of the very handsome son of my best friend. At the time I was dabbling in digital art, but I never really got the hang of it. My old art, especially all fanart has been completely deleted from my DA a couple of years ago.
- What is your favourite type of art to create?
Watercolour illustrations.
- If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
I'd love to have the patience to do landscape and flower paintings. I always promise myself I'll finally start painting flowers, but I never do, lol.
- What was your first favourite?
- What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
Watercolours, photos of people, animals, drawings of people who don't have lots of faves but would deserve them.
<da:thumb id="494452050"/> - Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist? If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
That's a hard question because I cannot choose. Also it would be insulting to all the other friends and artists that I like, but don't come to mind right now. - How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
I cannot say that a specific fellow deviant has ever impacted my life, but being on DA has definitely made me paint more.
- What are your preferred tools to create art?
Hehe, watercolours, and watercolours, and... watercolours?
Well, I'm an art supplies collector and nerd, I like all kinds of pretty colours, pencils, palettes, tubes and pans etc. but when I want to make art I almost always reach for my watercolours.
- What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
Any place, really. I like to take small notebooks with me everywhere I go, and to draw people on the tram, while waiting for the bus or while strolling through the town.
- What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?
That's a very hard question to answer. Anytime I have nice conversations with fellow deviants, but there isn't one special memory that comes to mind right now.

Watercolour Pans Versus Tubes
This article is about artists' grade watercolours. Everything written is based on my personal experiences. I'm not getting paid by any of the suggested companies.
It has always struck me as surprising how painting habits can be different in Europe and the US. (Apologies to any other country/continent that I don't know of, especially all of Asia and the Southern hemisphere - I just don't have any knowledge about what artists prefer there)
European artists tend to use more pans for their watercolours, opposed to Americans, who seem to favour tubes. Of course, it's probably a question of availability, too. Companies like Schmincke (German), Wi

really interesting!!
I really love reading those questionnaires, I learn a lot about my watched and watchers I can relate to "meticulous, yet messy" I really like your answer to 9, too... I love discovering people with great and/or promising art but not many watchers
